Bad Case of Body Odour.

There are many things that I can and cannot stand. One of the cannots on my list would have to the body odour. Especially when the smell is so horrible, that it urges you away from the source.

I had a bad encounter with this problem just last month. I was walking down the school hallway, when all of a sudded a group of students cut me off. I was a little ticked at firsst because of the fact that they were walking at the speen of an 80 year old men. Then the lurking smell appeared suddenly before my face and there was no escaping. I had to bear with it because of the fact that there was no way past them. I can understand if they had just came from gym and were sweaty and stinky. However, these students were actually in my gym class! And gym wasn't until next period. Uhm yeah, I have the same question. Why'd they stink?

The next gym class i had been met with the same horrible odour that my nose was still recovering rom yesterday. The same group was standing in the corner of the change room, preparing to leave, when i uttered "Oh man, this spray smells amazing!" Once of the guys asked me if he could use some, and i replied, "Have it." I think that a $5 spray was one of the best investments I've ever mad. So in the end, I think i solved the problem indirectly and no one's feelings got hurt!

Some people may not understand just how badly they smell. That is why I take a more kind approach into addressing the situation just because I think it's rude if i say "You stink bro." That's not the person I am.

A factor of the body odour is just human nature. We all stink at some point in our life. However, that's nothing a good showering and if you don't well then buy some deodorant or body spray to cover it. Spraying cheap dollarstore cologne will only make it worse. Trust me. Thanks!

People Who Text While You're Talking

There's lots of different things that people do that irritate us but what bugs me the most is when people text while talking to people. Manners please! Didn't your parents teach you those.

One time when my boyfriend and I were in the middle of a conversation, when suddenly someone texted him and he replied back, instead of talking to me .im like "okay whatever,I'm outta here". I was really mad when he came up to me and asked " what's wrong with that? What is the problem ?" and I said " a hmm, I'm talking to you right? And youre not listening to me because you keep on texting." that was rude, it felt like he didn't care or he doesn't want to listen to what I was saying. Of course that was an issue, so we got into a fight. I said " okay! I don't care if it is another drama between us, just go fix your effin attitude then come back!" he replied " okay fine like you never do the same thing I did". " yeah I really don't because I'm not a jerk like you!"I restored. He then walks out.

I love my cellphone, it's practical and fun . But when phone makes us act like jerks or changes our behaviour , we should avoid being over addicted to them. If we didn't stop, texting while talking it may lead us to fight again, which is not good. So be more considerate, think of others and be less self-centred. In this world , you are not the only one who lives here, billions of others do too! Some of us really need to text back because it's their only way to communicate or let others know something in private . I respect people using phones, so the least others can do is to respect the people around them by listening to them first and text back after you are done talking to them.

The Road is Not Yours!

I love to drive, ever since I passed my Driver’s Road Test and received my Intermediate Driver’s License. I love to drive to school and do not have to walk in the freezing cold and do not have to for buses outside. Most of all I love the fact that I do not have to be dependent on my parents or anyone else to pick me up or drop me off to my destination. As much as I love the ad vantages of driving, there are some disadvantages such as reckless, arrogant drivers who seem to believe that the public roads are built for them. They believe that the driving rules do not apply to them and they can stop, turn, and park wherever they desire. Also they believe that the speed limit signs are not for them. These types of bad drivers tend to on my nerve from time to time.
I had an encounter with a bad driver just yesterday. I was on my way to pick up my sister from her University. A driver ahead of me was driving at the speed of 50kh/hr when the posted speed was 70km/hr. It was on the highway during rush-hour, therefore I could not pass the person and get on my way to the University. It really bugged me being stuck behind this slow driver in rush-hour when I am trying to get to my destination on time. As much as I wanted to address this person and ask “Why are you driving 20km/hr less than the posted speed”, I could not address this person because we were in two different vehicles and both vehicles were moving. Not being able to address this bad driver also bugged me a lot. When I finally saw a opening into the other lane and switched, the slow- driver also switched into the same lane and did not signal before changing lanes. At this time I had enough of the slow driver so I changed my lane again and finally got this driver.
Another bad driving habit I have seen is when people change lanes or turn without giving a signal to the direction they want to go. It really annoys me when people can’t take the common courtesy to flick a little switch to acknowledge everyone else on the road that they are about to move their vehicle in a certain direction. It is dangerous for the driver and other people on the road, especially when they are driving on the highway.
Also it annoys me when people drive with a lead-foot. My dad is one of them, he quickly accelerates and brakes hard every time he drives. I never understood why he drives in that way, what is he in such a rush for. I just do not see the point in accelerating quickly just to get to a red light and having to brake. If you are inside a car with my dad for at least 15 minutes, you are guaranteed to have a headache by the end.
To my understanding driving is a privilege and people tend to abuse their privilege to drive without any care. Bad Drivers believe that they can drive or park however and wherever they want. They like to make their own rules on the road and make bad decisions such as distracted driving. Bad driving habits not only annoy me but they are incredibly dangerous for the public and the bad drivers as well.

Don't Kill Me With Too Many Expectations!

Teenagers assume that parents these days expect way too much from them. It is irritating when they start comparing their kids to other kids. There are too many expectations which sometimes leads to "Rebellious Kids". Instead of accepting their child's interests in various things, they will start putting their decisions and opinions without even listening to the kids.

I remember once, actually its not once, it happens quite often. "Why are your grades not as high as I expected? Why can't you be like other kids? Why can't you be like your cousin, your best friend or some other person?" This list of questions goes on which really annoys and irritates me. "Well, I say, what if that's not something I'm best at? Instead, why don't you look for "positive interests" in me?" Sometimes I ignore the situation but when I really think I need to confront this, I do! I give them an example of something like: "What if I start saying the same things to you? No one is perfect, even you! What if I say, Oh! Why don't you dress like your friend? She/ he has a better sense of style." Then usually the answer to my question is "Why copy others and be someone who you're not?" Then , I tell them to apply their answers to the questions they ask me before they compare me with anyone else.

I think most parents behave this way because they're worried about their children making choices and they "might not" be aware of that, it really bugs us and everyone is not the same. Being stressed, worried and comparing will not lead to the results of their child performing the best in everything. In other words, you can't be perfect in everything. Parents should also accept their child's flaws and be proud of what they do accomplish!

Scratching of the Chalkboard

The chalkboard, the chalkboard is good for teachers to use for assignments and also good for just doodling. But I just cannot take it when someone starts scratching it for no reason or just to piss someone off.
I absolutely hate it when someone scratches the chalkboard. It makes my whole body have this weird and tingly feeling. When I see someone scratching the chalk board my fingers and nails start getting this weird feeling and it makes me want to cut them off. Hearing someone scratching the chalk board is just the worst. It makes me wish I had no ears so I wouldn’t have to hear anything like that ever again. Sometimes when I just even think of someone scratching the chalkboard without even someone doing it I get all those weird feelings.

I have had many encounters of people or 'friends' scratching the chalkboard just to piss me off because they know I hate it that much and they think it is fun. I don’t even understand how someone can scratch a chalkboard without feeling all those feelings I get when I see someone scratching the chalkboard. When someone is scratching the chalkboard I instantly confront them about it and I usually tell them that the chalkboard is supposed to be used only with chalk and not your finger nails!

My most recent encounter of seeing or hearing someone scratching the chalkboard was in my English class during school. It wasn’t even one of my friends that were doing it either. It was my own English teacher and it was during a lesson in class. My English teacher was teaching us about a new assignment we were going to be doing soon and it was about pet peeves. So as he was talking about pet peeves and different pet peeves, out of nowhere he scratches the chalk board as an example to show a pet peeve someone could possibly have. Unfortunately it just had to be my pet peeve. As soon as he did it I started to feel all those feelings that I talked about earlier. It was such of an unpleasant feeling especially because I was sitting in class trying to learn. Although my English teacher did not know the scratching of a chalkboard made me very unhappy, I clearly showed it with my emotion that it was very clear I did not like him scratching that chalk board. But of course like everyone else who knows I do not like the scratching of the chalkboard he does it again, for reasons I just do not know.
Some people may not care if someone is scratching the chalk board but I am definitely not one of those people and I am sure I cannot be the only one out there.

Let's Cooperate!

I hate it when we're doing a project and one or 2 of my partners will do nothing. The worst part is that it may be due the next class, or an hour later. Do they even care about the marks/points we'll get for the project? Do they even care that we might get in trouble if we were unable to do finish it? There really are a lot of things that bothers me.

Whenever I see someone slacking off, it irritates me, even if he/she isn't in our group. It irritates me because I know how it feels. If I were to recall the time this happened, it would be last semester in Driver's Ed. Class. We were put into groups of four and only 2 of my group members were doing it (one of those members was me). The other 2 were just waiting, even if I asked them to do something. We were supposed to make a poster about "Maintaining Speed and Gravel Roads" and had to look it up on the book. While my classmate and I work hard, the other 2 were just sitting and slacking off.

I have tried telling them that they can at least do this stuff and just when I thought he/she will, they wouldn't do it. They will drop it and act as if I never  said anything to them. Like come on, why won't they cooperate with us? Do they even know how hard it is to do a project with less cooperation? I'm not trying to be bossy but I also don't want our group to get less marks. I don't really mind if they just sit there and listen, but they can at least give us an opinion or any ideas that they have in mind. Whenever I'm in a group, I always make sure that they will get something to do and help them if they're having trouble with it.

I think that there are reasons why people engage in this behavior and it may be bad or good. Though, I usually think that they just might not care or it's not a big deal to them at all. I'm positive that they're aware about the situation we're in but just chooses not to bother. The only way I can stop them from misbehaving or slacking off is probably by communicating and cooperating with them. Patience wouldn't hurt either, I guess. But please, please, please, cooperate with us!

Talking Loud

It really bugs me when someone talks loud even though their standing right next to you. It kind of makes me mad when their loud pointy voice hits in my ears. It’s like they have no respect or manners against other people. It’s not like I don’t speak loud. I do, but only when I have to, like suppose there’s loud music going on at some party or theirs an emergency like there’s fire in school so it’s obvious I would yell out and say

"Run there's fire in the school!!".

Usually in school hallways people talk loud and I hear it every day. But some time people cross their limits. One time I was standing with my friend Kamaljeet in front of his locker to get his stuff from his locker. One of Kamaljeet's friend name Rajiv comes up to him and said hi to him.

"What’s up bro?" Rajiv says in an extremely super loud voice.

It actually scared me. Everyone in the hallways started looking at us. It was pretty awkward at the moment because it was during the break and there were a lot of people in the hallways. So yeah, Rajiv still didn't lower his voice.

"Yo bro can you speak a little loud I can’t hear you" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah sure!!" Rajiv says it in a super loud voice.

As I control my anger I said "chill out man we're standing right next to you, don’t yell"

Rajiv ignores me and kept his conversation the way it was before. So I went behind him, close to his ear and said

"Can you hear me!!?" in a loud voice

He didn't like what I did.

"Are you crazy?" Rajiv says.

"No, I just wanted to show you how I felt when you were talking this loud." I said as I walked away from him.

The next day he came up me and said sorry. He said this is how I usually talk to everyone. He said no one ever told him that his voice is that loud.

I actually blame his friends and family because they never told him that normally when he talks he talks loud. If they did tell him in the first place he wouldn’t have been as loud as he is now. There are some people that still speak very loudly and their not aware of it. If you could just tell them that they are loud and keep reminding them, eventually someone say they will realize that other people really gets annoyed from their loud voice.
