Let me sleep!

Every person has a particular behaviour that annoys us. This behaviour may not be a big deal to the person concerned but may be too bothersome to the people around him or her. For me, the behaviour I dislike the most is when a person is interrupting my sleep. As we all know, sleep is essential for our health and well-being. Our body always demands rest especially after all the day's work. The lack of it makes us weak, sluggish, moody and sometimes disconcerted. This is why we need to respect those who are still sleeping.
Let’s face it, in our adolence our sleeping habit is different from the rest of the society. We tend to sleep late and wake up late, and this is especially true during summer, when teenagers are having their longest break from school. I am no exception. At summer breaks I hung out with my friends, talk to them over the phone, in the chatroom or message board. That means almost every night I sleep around 3 a.m. and wake up at noontime. So I really hate it when somebody just starts singing really loud in the shower or when I hear people talking and shouting inside or outside the house.
At my house, my sleep is always getting disrupted, maybe even on a daily basis. My family does not care much about whether other people are sleeping or not. Everybody does his or her usual chores unmindful that others are still asleep. However, what irritates me the most are the people outside our house, talking, shouting, yelling and shrieking as if the street is their living room.
There was this instances when I slept around 4 a.m. and around 7 a.m. I heard this really loud noise outside the window. I woke up and wondered what that noise was and where it came from. I thought it was my mom downstairs. I tried to close my eyes and go back to sleep but I kept hearing people talking. The voice didnt sound like it was anyone from my family so I knew that it came from our neighbours again. For the second time I tried to ignore the noise to sleep, but I could not because they kept on shouting and screaming. I really wanted to scream and say "SHUT UP!" but I opted to rise from bed instead as I could not sleep anymore. All in all I had only 3 hours of sleep, thanks to our noisy neighbours. Of course, the noise did not stop. Why would it stop when nobody is telling them to shut up their mouths. What I don't understand is why are they are so loud? At 7 o’clock in the morning, expect other people to be still asleep. Consider the people who work during night time and want to have a good sleep once they come home in the morning. Seriously! What's the fuss all about? Is the world ending? Why are people running around like crazy chickens that got their head cut off? Can't we just walk calmly and silently without bothering those who enjoy their reverie?
I guess they have their own reasons; maybe they win the lottery? I don't really know why they would be so loud in the morning but maybe they just did not realize that other people are still sleeping. Excitement makes people behave strangely beyond the norms. I understand that they must be overeager or so excited, but why can't they be excited in their own homes or in private places by themselves instead of turning the whole street into their own living room? Someday, I wish that someone will tell them to quiet down or to move somewhere else if they can not help modulate their voice. I even hope that maybe that someone will be me. I just really want to enjoy all morning sleeping without having to wake up in the middle of my dream.

Mr. Gangster guy

The thing that gets on my last nerve is when guys try to act “gangster”. You have no idea what they’re trying to say, there pants are down to their knees, and they say “bro” after every word they say.
My boyfriend had this friend who wanted to be the next Lil Wayne. Problem is he was white as snow, and about 5’1. He wore clothes that were 2 sizes too big, his underwear was always showing and he didn’t know how to speak like a normal person. Don’t get me wrong he was a very nice guy to me and my boyfriend. Thing is he talked about women like they were objects. He would slap girl’s bums and say “Hey Sexy!” to every girl who passed. He did not know how to speak or treat a lady. This guy had the worst possible grammar I’ve ever heard.
One day he was trying to tell me and my boyfriend a story that happened the past weekend. He got so carried away with the “bros” that my boyfriend got fed up with it. He said to him “ok I know you’re trying to create this image of K-Fed but you sound so stupid! I have no idea what you’re trying to tell me, this has got to stop!” After this he hasn’t spoke to us. I would have told him myself but I wasn’t close enough to him to break the news to him.
I have no idea why guys try to create this image. Maybe they think that it’s “cool” and that they would get a lot of girls? But here’s a news flash for you guys, girls DO NOT think this is attractive, it DOES NOT make you look cool, and plain and simple you sound and look stupid. I think this really needs to stop; it’s just a disgrace to the human race.

"CHOMP CHOMP" irritation.

That irritating moment where you are trying to enjoy your meal but in the replacement of the silence that should be there, is someone's loud chewing. Just attacking those ribs or even nibbling on that salad. Doesn't that eat at you?
I don't get how people don't have the decency to just close their mouth while they are eating. No one wants to see your food getting ground up. This isn't no butcher shop. I never asked to see you chomp down on that steak bit by bit.
Have some respect.
I can barely handle sitting with my family at dinner, because every single time I become so annoyed by the sounds of their chewing. Especially my father. I've never met someone that chews so loud! He doesn't even chew with his teeth, more like with his lips.
I can't describe how much this irritates me. How that sticky, slobbery sound makes me cringe every time, or even the fact that there is pretty much half their food hanging out of their mouth or even on their clothing. Literally every five minutes I would have to say "mouth closed". Yet no one ever listens, it never sinks into their head that maybe what they are doing is making someone else uncomfortable. Maybe, just maybe that is why I'm usually upset when I'm eating with others.
Don't get me wrong, I like going out to eat with my friends or even family, its just I cant always fully enjoy it because of this little irritation.
I can't handle it. I've been straight up about it my entire life time so far, but no one ever takes me seriously when I tell them that it is just plain disrespectful.
On the other hand, I've heard some people can't eat with their mouth closed
because they are unable to breathe through their nose. In that case, it is
understandable, but it's still not an excuse to eat like a cow. If you cannot
breathe then somewhat control how you eat, take smaller bites perhaps?

I can handle this annoyance to a certain point, but this irritation eats at me
all the time.
My little pet peeve.

People Who Smoke

Everyday, someone, somewhere on Earth is smoking a cigarette. This is a world wide issue. Even though government knows that smoking does cause cancer so why do political parties turn blind and deaf when someone tries to ban tobacco? Even in Maples from 1600 students probably 400 students probably smoke cigarette and it really makes me mad when someone smokes it right on my face when i come to school and if smoking in young people and older citizens keep growing like this the world with the population of 6 billion will have atleast 2 billion people diagnosed with cancer or other kind of breathing problems.
Since i walk to school eveyday i go through the smoking area to go to my locker and my biology class.all the students who smoke are there 24/7and smoke probably a pack a day and the number will probably go up as high as 9.as well all now that cigarette have tar and nicotine .nicotine is the reason why they get addicted. when student smoke the smell enter the building when the door opens up.the smell also enters the people's lungs when they are going by the area or even inside the school.the second example s at the Seven Oaks Hospital when i was returning from volunteering and this old lady who was a patient told me to take her outside because she was on wheelchair,i took her outside and i went inside to wait ,after a while my ride came and i went outside and the same lady was smoking cigarette, she offered me to smoke thinking i was in the legal age.i replied saying "No"
I have not addressed anyone but i am really thinking of sending a letter to the prime minsiter Stephen Harper about banning ciagarret and tobacco use in canada because i want to live in a smoke free world with no tobaco use or cigarettes , but i i think stephen harper won't give a s*it about my letter because it take a group of people to change the world.
Most of the people are forced into this bad habit because of peer pressureand like the most of the drugs ,this drug is addicting and one hard habit to rehab from or even quit.most of the smokers try quiting but nicorrette kills brains cells and tells the brain to smoke and want that feeling more and more.some people can quit and it is never too late. i kno that Mr.Buffie quit smoking when he was 24,now he is living a smoke free life and he has less risk of cancer or other breathing problems.
Factors that can help people quit this bad habit of smoking are nicorette enhaler and patches which help stp the craving of a cigarette and you can go to stop smoking classes where people try to learn how to quit smoking.this may sound pretty easy to do but only some lucky people can qiut .the things i want is government to improve the facility to the citizen to quit smoking and teach them about the dangers of smoking.

Texting While Walking Should be Prohibited

My peeve that i will be writing about is "Texting". Technology today has been hectic and advanced that some of us cannot keep up. Not only that, most of us are taking advantage, which is great in a good way. Technology today has been majorly advanced that society became so huge with communicating with friends or family instantly became popular, especially with texting.
For instance everyday when i walk to school, i litterally visual alot of people on their cellphones, while heading to class. What i get fustrated alot is when walking in the hallway, ppractically every student are on their cellphones either calling or texting and what they dont realize is that they're causing a problem to other students that want to get to class or to there destination. Like i said i just litterally dont get how people dont realize that having their cellphones out is a major problem but constantly keep doing it.
I will not address this because it is not worth the effort of trying to make the process or announcement sucessful when no doubt that people wont even listen or even think about it. Like i mentioned every year technology is getting more and more advanced but at the same time its getting more and more hectic.
My point of view is that people are getting these HIGH TECH cellphones or devices is because its whats in today. And everyone has to get them in order to stay updated in todays technology. The people that have these devices have no intentions of the problems, they honestly do not care about other people either than themselves and their high tech smartphones.
Factors to make these people realize is to show them a legitement evidence that represents the effect on others. We as innocent and caring people should persuade them to only take out their cellphones when there are no people around you or emergency situations. Atleast give the benefit of the doubt to others or even be respectful and generous to step out of the way of peoples path.

The Way You Talk is a Reflection of Who You Are

Can you not talk or speak to someone for a day? Well if you are going to ask me that.. I would say NO!
Everyone can speak or talk because its a God's give to us. Though we have our own language every single day, though we have our own groups of friends to talk to.. we still have to consider those private things that didnt have to share with them. There is a problem with us people, some of us talk so loud. As in LOUD! They are not shouting either. It's like they are talking to someone miles away from him/her because their voice are too loud. Did you ever experience that? Its was so annoying honestly. Especially in the classroom, cafeteria, subways, bus, in the hallway and especially in church. Isn't it obvious to them that they are distructing someone or the whole crowd?

There are few things that can influence how loudly people talk. If a person is hard of hearing, thats the time we should speak loud and clear for them to hear us. Personally, I am sensitive with noise not only me there's somebody who is also sensitive too. So I choose to be quiet and speak more softly. Some people are still proud for themselves even if they disturb anybody else with their loud voice.

I am in my class that cold afternoon, we are having a long quiz that time but me and my sitmate cannot concentrate because this group of people keep on talikng too loud even they notice that everyone is so quiet except for them. Our teacher gets mad at them then tak for them for a second, but here they go again talking too each other so loud and their tone getting stronger. We do have our own normal voice but I dont know why they can talk that loud. Do they have a microphone in their throat or somewhere in their body?! I remember when my classmate ask me this,

"Have you ever overhead someones's conversation because they talking too loud?"

"Well yeah." my short answer.

I know anywhere you can see a group of people talking in the middle of the hallway like they dont care about the other people. Or even inside the bus or subway. Even though we`re used to it, it`s still annoying for some reason. Admit it that you or anyone you know talk like that anywhere even your group of friends. Its not bad when your talking to someone whether its in the public place or not. We still have to consider some people not just yourself or your business because they can hear your conversation and I think it`s not appropriate.

We can talk clear and in normal voice. Last, be respectful so others will respect you too. Because the way you talk is a reflection of who you are.

The “Official” Language

Canada is a place where multiculturalism is encouraged, but when did it get so overwhelming? Lately I can’t walk down the street without hearing mumbling of music in a foreign language. It’s not that I don’t like people from different ethnicities. I myself come from an unconventional Canadian background; however there are some boundaries one takes when in front of others to let them feel comfortable. I remember when I first started attending Maple Collegiate. I was nervous and scared, but when I walked through the doors I seen so much diversity that it intimidated me on another level. Walking to my classes I seen two very different ethnic groups huddled together. On one side you had the Filipino’s and on the other side you had the East Indians. The thing that I think bothered me the most about these groups was not that they were together; instead it was because they excluded people who weren’t from their parts of the world.

Multiculturalism is about learning and integrating with people from all over the globe. At Maples however, we see the opposite of this. Yes there are different groups of people, but no one steps out of their little zone to talk to someone and get to know them, and god forbid speak in ENGLISH!! One day as I was walking in to the bathroom during break I encountered a group of East Indian girls talking. As I approached the sink, one of them came over and said,

“Hey are you Punjabi?” When I responded “no” they turned away and started to speak in their language. I was in a bad mood as it was and that seemed to blow me over the top. Before leaving the washroom, I turned back at them and said
“Just so you know this is Canada, here people speak in English!” I assumed they got the message as they didn’t say anything before I left.

I like to think that people don’t intentionally do this, but when they are clearly speaking in English and decide to conveniently switch when someone walks by, it makes you wonder. I suppose it may be easier for some to communicate in their native tongue, but all I’m trying to say is when you’re at school you should at least be respectful and use a language everyone can understand.

A couple reasons I think people would engage in this behaviour are because, it may make them feel more comfortable in their new environment. I think a way this behaviour would be dissuaded is if schools made it mandatory for students and staff to speak in French or English the two OFFICIAL LANGUAGES in Canada.

This Aint No Slow n' Stop....

When I arrive at school or head off to the mall, people walk extra slow and by doing so they get people irritated following them. It is totally understandable for the elders at a mall, but energetic teens like us? Come on now. It just really, really bugs me to the max when people do this.

I came to school one day and I needed to go to my locker before i was held up for class. As if was walking down through the link area of my school, a group of people were walking in front of me about 10m down the hall from where I was. (They're most likely friends with each other) They started walking as I followed behind them. And as I was walking, they decided to just stop out of nowhere and start talking or gossiping about something towards each other and they started walking again but even slower. Like honestly, it's not necessary for just stopping in a crowded hallway and walking slow at the same time. Common sense, you're in a hallway and there are others to think about behind you.

Usually this happens about once or twice daily for me. I just smirk it off and just walk my normal(fast) walking speed. If they're still walking slow, I say excuse me politely and go on with my day. Hopefully they'll keep that in mind for the future so they don't get people aggravated. If it happens more than twice I do get in a very pissy mood and purposely say "can you move out of the way please?" Sometimes they won't pay attention cause of all the noise in the crowded halls and I lightly shove them to the side so they also don't piss off other people behind them.

It's not that they don't care for others behind them. They probably just get carried away talking with their friends and it's not a bad thing. But just please keep in mind their are other people right behind you. How do people not realise that their are others behind you? Gets me thinking. It's just like when an emergency vehichle is trying to get through for an accident of some sort and the cars infront don't move tpye of thing. If you don't get out of the way, PLEASE get out of the way or step off to the side of the hallway, not the middle where you could get trampled on by angry students trying to get to class.

Are You Listening?

I hate it when people are preoccupied when they talk to me. They end up asking me dumb questions that I’ve already answered. Sometime there are serious consequences and other times, the outcomes are just funny.

Problems occur when you don’t listen to your auto teacher. List week in class, harwinder was goofing around during the lesson. So the teacher asked him to help with the demonstration. “Hook up the battery clamps to the battery”. As Harwinder grabbed one clamp, the teacher pushed his hand away from the from the battery saying “if you continue what you’re doing, you’ll be losing a hand, a leg or your testicles”. Harwinder smartened up after that and became much more interested in the lesson

Funny situations can also happen when you’re not listening. A group of students were skipping class. The boys were talking about the upcoming wrestling match between the undertaker and his opponent big show. This was to be the main event fought in a cage. Some girls in the group looked as if they were following the conversation, but they were actually texting each other about the clothes they were going to wear Saturday night. One of the girls burst out laughing when she received a line of text that said: “I’m going to wear my new wresting matching purse and shoes”

Dress to the Occasion

The way you dress plays a big role in this society. One of my pet peeves is when people don’t know how to dress, here are a few reasons why; when some people don’t change for gym and they sweat, or when people wear stuff that doesn’t match, also when people underdress for an event.

I’ve had many experiences where people don’t know how to put an outfit together. I was walking down the hallways when I seen someone wearing bright red pumas, light blue baggy jeans, with a bright yellow shirt, and a watch (out of all colors green!) and to top it off with a black NY hat. Another example is in my gym class there’s this one guy how never changes and is always trying hard and walks out sweating. At wedding receptions it’s hard not to underdress, but in the summer I went to a really fancy wedding and I saw this one guy who wore a XXL tee and half off jean shorts! He was definitely invited because he was talking with everyone.

I have never confronted anyone about this because I’ m a nice guy and I don’t want to be rude, what if they're poor, indebt, or living on a small budget. You never know, they might just get angry.

I honestly have no idea why they're not up with society. I’m also 100% sure that they don’t know its bothering anyone. I don’t even know why it bugs me but it just does.

Peolpe should always wash their hands!

People should always wash their hands after using the washroom. Some people just don't care. Many times when i go to the washroom , i see that a lot of people are just to lazy to wash their hands. And you can just imagine all the bacteria and germs they've touched , or when's the last time they washed their hands.

Most of them think it only affects them and they don't care. But when in reality it affects other people as well. Just think when you shake someones hand, borrow a pencil , play with your friends video game controller and even borrowing someones phone. All those germs being transferred.

By reading this you may assume i'm a germaphobic , but really i'm just speaking common sense.
When your done taking a leak/dump in the washroom, wash your hands. I mean its called a washroom for a reason , am i right? These are also one of the many ways people get sick. When the germs transfer to your hands you may end up touching your food, and then the food goes into your mouth along with the germs into your body. And that's how people get sick.

When someone doesn't wash their hands , it changes the whole image in how you see them.
At first you think as him/her as some person who needs to take a leak/dump. Then all of a sudden when he/she is done ,he/she decides not to wash their hands. Now you see this person as filthy.

That all factors in , to when's the last time they have washed their hands. Could be 1 hour , 2 hours , several hours, maybe even days. And who know what they've done with their hands since then.

Last year i sat beside this guy who didn't wash his hands, and i didn't find out till one day i needed to go to the washroom really bad. And i saw him taking a leak, then when he was done, he didn't wash his hands. At first i thought it was just a one time thing. But then i saw him do it again and again. Which made me wonder of all the times he borrowed my pencil. He even made me arm wrestle him. Just imagine how many germs i got from that.

Imagine all the people in the world who haven't washed their hands.
Imagine how many of them you met and how many of their hands you shook.
Ive concluded that some people are just to lazy to wash their hands. When you're done using the washroom, wash your hands. Think about how it affects other people before you decide not too.

I think that you'd agree that people should always wash their hands.

Not-so-Undercover Odour

Beware the smell everyone! It seems as if Body Odour has successfully made its way throughout our hallways, with no intentions of leaving.

It's understandable that sweating and body odour are problems for some, but there are other alternatives to fixing those issues besides covering it up with Axe, or any other body cologne. The occasional fix of cologne is acceptable to some extent, but when others spray their whole body with it-- they seem to not realize that people can smell them from the other side of the school. Although Axe and many other antiperspirant commercials make it seem like that should be interpretted as a form of flattery, some may find the smell agonizing to be around throughout the day. Many suggest that these people tone down on the cologne, bring another pair of cloths to change into or simply take more baths.Evidently enough, none of those suggestions seem to be considered.

It's almost as if that infamous, familiar smell of cologne attacks you right as you enter the hallway. You can easily tell who amongst others have participated in a sport, ran to school, or have been sweating for the past hour and haven't done anything about it. Truth of the matter is, it is excruciating having to walk past the strong smell in the already humid atmosphere the crowded hallways have created. We are all forced to deal with the fact that cologne is Body Odour's latest disguise.

To be fair, we must consider the fact that some peple do not realize how strong the smell of their cologne is; much like how we are unable to smell our own personal scent.Unless of course, they like the smell and think using a whole bottle of cologne is a reasonable amount to put on. Another theory? They have become completely oblivious to the smell, due to the fact that they have already adapted to the cologne's powerful scent. What I don't understand is the need for others to wear so much cologne. How much of the smell are they trying to cover up? How can we let them know it bothers us?

When it comes to confronting others about this issue, we often hesitate about whether this cologne disguised odour is worth confronting someone for. Does it really bother us to the point where it's a must to talk to them about it? If so, how should we tell them? Half the time, we aren't personally close with some of these people, which will most likely result in an awkward and uncalled for situation. Another reason that may delay confrontation is the worry of coming across as rude, considering that their excessive cologne wearing may already be their attempt to fix their body odour problem.

Although many of us want to be able to walk in the hallways without being hit by the humid wave of the cologne and body odour scent our hallways consistently carry, we tend to avoid the confrontations due to these reasons. With that being said, many of us have attempted to beat around the bushes by hinting to others about this issue. As for the rest of us, we simply learn to tolerate it. At the end of the day, (and the day after that, and so on...) the not-so-undercover odour lives on throughout our hallways.

Repetitive Complaints

Every once in awhile or yet often, you run into and experience that one friend or person that just wont stop complaining. By that i mean, a person that always finds a problem about everything, and keeps mentioning the complaint publicly. This person would aslo tend to speakout of his or her complaint to persuade others to agree with it. I find this really annoying because no matter what i do to try and solve the problem for this certian person/friend, they keep going on about it or end up trying to find something new to complain about.
I myselfy had obviously encountered these types of people, yet even would have few friends like this. An example of encountering would be with a girl i have recently dated from May to near september. She had been quite the complainer. Sure i've only seen her once or twive a week but everytime we would go out i would hear the same repetitive complaints. For example, "its to hot outside (almost everytime even though the weather would be fine), I'm tired (whenever she would have nothing to say), I don't want to go anywhere (after she would suggest to). Also to change her mind almost everytime she owuld decide to do something. Long story short, she would always tend to find a new topic to complain about.
In this case I believe people would end up being annoyed. It is simply irritating to listen to someone complain about everything and for them to even find new things to complain about on the spot.
As a result from this happening almost every time I hung out with her or texted her. I've seemed to be mad or frustrated all the time. To help this situation I would advise to keep it tonyourself or listen to the advice you're getting, and to tone down the complaining.

The Wasteful Way

We all are so lucky for all the possessions we have. But when people choose to waste the things they have it really bothers me and many others feel very strongly about this to. Wasting things like food for example, is a straight “middle finger” to the less fortunate in my opinion. Also this shows all the things we take for granted and this has become a major problem in today's world. Wasting things is a real problem especially when there are people in the world dyeing to have what we got. It is frustrating seeing something that could have been reused or saved being thrown out or wasted.

One time I was at a fast food restaurant and this lady ordered a huge meal. Only to witness her eat one French fry and minutes later throw out everything she had ordered and walk out like it was nothing. She defiantly was not thinking about all the people in the world that are starving. This was not the only time I have seen someone being wasteful, at school many times when I have walked into a washroom, I have observed the faucet running full blast with no on in site operating it. People in other countries would do anything for a running water source.

I have tried addressing this issue many times but only with friends and family. Most times I just try to remind them and they usually have that “eye opener" moment. I have never tried to inform strangers of this problem but, if I did they would not be happy with some random person nagging at them. There is no way to address this problem at large, it all depends on people's mind sets and prospective.

People act this way because they are taken what they have now for granted. Most people don’t even realize they are being wasteful and this really bothers me the most. I am sure other people feel the same way. Another reason for such a behavior is the way we are brought up in this society we always have to have the biggest and the best things, otherwise they are obsolete and need to be thrown away.

Some factors that might foster behavior like this is being brought up in a world where we have everything and anything we could ever want. If these people got to see the unfortunate up close and personal I am sure their views would dramatically change for the better and maybe they would try to become more conservative with their possessions and the resources that are very available to us.

"Be Respectful"

Did you give respect to your parents? Or your friends?

When someone didn't give respect to others specially to you parents, they also don't deserve a respect. parents mean a lot to us. We have to give them a respect.

One day I went to my friend's house. By mistake her mother said, "That's your phone bill, how come this is so big?"
Then my friend shouted "That's not mine why you are blaming me?"
She also said lots of another words that are irrespectively and once my brother did same thing. He is younger than me. He said something to my father that was so mean and disrespectful and I
told him not to do like that if you did it again then I will never talk to you. We should respect our parents. They are like GOD to us.

I think people do this because of anger. Sometimes they are really depressed from something and they spoke rudely with others or with their parents but I think some people realize their mistake after.

Parents give us everything: shelter, love, care and many other things that we didn't count. So we have to pay them back in the same way. We have to give them respect, love, and care. I think if people share their problems with their parents and friends like this they will come out from their anger and be respectful with their parents.

Remember one thing, if we respect others then they will also respect you.

An Issue Almost Every Student Goes Through, Everyday.

People walking slow and or stopping midstride in the hallway of school is one of the most irritating things I have to deal with almost every day of my life. It’s just way too inconsiderate for people to take their own jolly time and stop walking on their own time when they see a friend and decide they need to stop and say hi or what not, because half the time people are walking in the school hallway it’s because they have a destination to go too and they’re usually in a rush to get to their classes on time. Meaning, they don’t have extra time to waste. Not only is it irritating to the person walking directly behind the slow walking person, it’s a nuisance in a domino effect to everyone following you in your direction around the school.

A good example I can think of for this annoying situation would have been a few months ago when I was walking behind an extremely slow person in the hallways of Maples Collegiate. There was no way around this person because it was in the very small “link” and there were many people around on either side. I was in a major rush behind this person because I was running out of time to catch a bus that I was getting very late for. I was desperately saying nice gestures like “excuse me!” to the person in front of me in hopes they might get the hint I was in a rush and I really needed them to get out of my way or at least hurry up with their speed of walking. But no, this person ignored my gestures, or maybe they didn’t even hear me in the first place, I guess I’ll never know. But they continued taking their sweet time. I had to silently suffer behind this person until I reached my destination on the Seaford Shell doors. Then, right before my eyes as I looked out of the window, I saw my bus drive away right before my eyes, it was the last bus running for that hour.

I’m not exactly sure why people think it’s acceptable to take their sweet time in the hallway of school when clearly many people are in a rush. I honestly think these people just need to be told very abruptly to get out of the way, if they aren’t going to follow the nice gestures people are making for them to hurry up, because this behaviour cannot continue, because of how inconsiderate and annoying it simply is.

These people.

I am the type of guy that would always gets along with everyone. But, there are some people who really get on my nerves and that i cant get along with. like the kind of people that are really loud and do really dumb things. People who act like they are funny but they are really not. I just cant stand annoying people.

There was this one time when me and my friends were hanging out in the hallway one day after school. And one of our other friends came walking down the hall yelling "Hi!" to everyone and laughing real loud. Don't know why he was laughing but he was and it was very unnecessary.
When he came close to us he started saying "hi." like any normal person would do. Then we were just talking everything was going fine till he started to ask questions. He had no idea what we were talking about. But he would always say things like "Oh i remember that!" or "That happened to me once." or something like "oh yeah i was there!" depending on the situation. I could tell that he was just trying to fit in but... come on he asked about every little detail. Every now and then he would send out this obnoxious laughter after he told a really bad joke. This didn't happen just once. It happens every now and then.

I never really wanted to tell him about how annoying i thought he was but i think he knew. Or, maybe he doesn't realize that he annoys a lot of people with the way he acts. But, maybe telling him would be the best thing. or at least showing him how he annoying he is.

Step Aside, Please.

You know what's annoying? When it's so crowded at some random place and you're trying to get somewhere really quickly and people are blocking your way, just standing there in the middle of the hallway, talking to someone else. I mean, does it take so much time and energy to step aside and continue your conversation somewhere where you're not actually blocking any one's way? It really gets to me when people don't take others that want to pass by them into consideration when they know they are taking up the whole space wherein it's impossible for other people to pass by.

I remember a time, wait! It always happens everyday, at school, the mall, even on sidewalks, so I don't think I'm ever going to get over my annoyance over this. Let me tell you a time at my school when first period was just over and it was so crowded at the hallways, stairs, everywhere, and people were like sardines in a fishnet trying to swim their way out. I remember trying to get by this group of people blocking the whole hallway and just standing there, talking to one another, so relaxed at their spots as if they were not blocking any one's way. And to think everyone was in a hurry to get to class, especially me since I have a test next period. I was trying to walk really fast so that I can get to my next class, which was at the opposite side of the school from where my first class was, on time. The last thing I expected was some distraction that will slow me down. But guess what? There it was! A group of people that probably has never been told to step aside in their entire life. I mean, haven't you heard the word 'consideration' before? Some people actually want to get past you! They act like they don't see you. They were just there, pretending as if everyone around them were invisible even though the vast majority of the school's population were squeezing their way through them, and they react as if nothing was happening, at all. Sometimes, they're the ones giving you dirty looks when you try to squeeze through them.

Since my morning was not that great, and I was not in the mood to tolerate any of this, I decided to take a stand. "Excuse me!" I shouted, staring at them with my evil eyes, trying to express my annoyance. I expected whispers about me from them and it did happen but thankfully, the three blind mice moved out of the way right after I shouted and that's all that matters.

I understand that having conversations about your personal life, or about the new guy in English class, in the middle of the hallway is comfortable but it's really annoying to the people that want to get somewhere but can't because you and your friend are taking up all the hallway space. I know that the people doing this are aware of how irritated people are of them because of the dirty looks they get every time and the thousand Excuse-Me's they hear every single day.

I know that some of you just want to talk to someone else in the middle of the hallway for reasons I can't seem to determine while others wait for their friends in the middle of the hallway where they are easily spotted, but please, there are more places you can do that at, the school is big enough, just not in the middle of the hallway. The middle of the hallway is a place for people to walk at, not hang around at. Step aside or get run over. Simple as that.

Little kids

In the world their are so many little kids, some of them are nice, some of they are bad some time nice kids start getting worst and they are so anoying , some little kids screem when they are playing or fighting each other - for example(soccerball, ice cream)i hate that so much.whem there parent told them to stop, somee of them no.
One time i saw a little girl in store and she was screaminng loud and when her mom said
stop screaming front of every body. her mom said there s people around you,and they were laughing at her . littel girl dont care what her mom said to her. she hit her mom , the reason is that they were at the store her mom buy her a orange juice and little spill orange juice on her clothes, her mom was so mad at her .
after 10 min latter little girl ask her mom, i want juice, her mom said no she ask her mom again and again, her mom said no.for that what happen .
factor we should make those kid s more respect able or dont bring

The whole world doesn't revolve around you.

No darling, the world doesn't revolve around you. Maybe in your own crazy little world, but not mine or anyone else's. We also don't want to talk about you and your little problems. When i was growing up, I was taught to be polite and listen to others when they're talking.

There will always be that one person that likes to get every one's attention. For example, making a big scene in front of a huge group of people. Pretty damn pathetic, right? Being loud for no reason, yelling "OW!!" after hitting herself and saying "Why'd you hit me?!" and pretending not to care about the people that are staring at her. Honestly, not many people truly give a f*ck, but they feel obligated to give that attention as they become a big distraction, and its really hard to ignore your annoying self.

I tried telling her that what she's doing is irritating. I confronted her, and I didn't see why not.
"No one is paying attention to you, you're just being loud. You can stop now. The world doesn't revolve around you. Got that?" I told her. I wasn't being rude, I was telling her how I -- along with many others felt.
"Yes. It actually does." was her response, and walked away.

Another experience of mine is when I'm talking to my friend and all she ever talks about is herself. Once again, I really don't want to hear whatever she has to say especially when all the things that come out of her mouth is all about her. There's no point on listening to her.

Why are people so self-centered? Maybe because they don't get enough attention at home, or when they're around friends. They try everything to draw people's attention to them. But what's the point? It changes the way people look at them, unless they want that. If they like being known as a person who seeks attention from everyone, then be my guest. It is always difficult to figure out what exactly the point; such as talking aloud for no reasons. Yet its affects, can be slightly felt. Whether it's annoyance or entertainment.
At the end of the day, we choose to confront them or deal with it.

Acts of Stupidity

Can somebody be too kind or too forgiving? Or are they just… something else…?
The cafeteria is a place where most students of the school socialize with their friends. Some people chatter away; telling comedic jokes and burst out laughing. Some eat their lunches by themselves, while others eat in groups. Some stand in the never-ending line of people; enduring hunger as they patiently wait to order their food. Others play card games on the corner of the cafeteria as the supervising teachers curiously watch their tournament and ask, “You’re not gambling, are you?”  And the students reply, “No we’re not!” with laughter. Indeed, the cafeteria is a sociable place to be.
A guy passed by and sat on the table next to me, placing a plate of poutine and a can of soft drink in front of him. A moment later, a friend of his approached and without asking, reached for some poutine and stuffed his face. I looked at him and the guy didn’t seem to mind sharing his food and chattered away with his friend. “What a kind and forgiving friend”, I thought to myself and looked to the other direction.
It was two quarters to one, the guy still sat next to me, but it looked like his friend went to buy himself a plate of poutine. Five minutes had passed and his friend has returned. He walked pass me, passed the guy who sat next to me and headed for an empty table; distancing himself from the others. I wondered why. The guy seemed to have noticed where his friend sat and approached him. As he approach, his friend brought his arms together around the plate of poutine. The guy said something and reached for the food. His friend tucked his head and arms slightly towards the food and looked at the guy with a dirty-looking expression. It was like seeing a dog protecting his bone that is being taken away by its master. What an unpleasant sight to behold. He was acting selfish towards the guy; his friend, who has recently shared his food with him.
It was like watching the Twilight Movie Series for the hundredth time. The guy and his friend have repeatedly acted the same event over and over, for a long period of time. There had been moments that I wished to approach the guy and tell him that his friend was being a big jerk and was taking the advantage of his kindness. Time gradually passes and the guy and his friend now buy their own food and do not share it with the other. “It is better this way”, I thought and looked to the other direction once more.
The world is vast. But even in this cafeteria; which is only a speck of dust compared to the world, there are many people with different kinds of attitudes and behaviours. Some, like the guy mentioned in this article is far too kind and too forgiving towards other. Or he may just be too oblivious towards the things around him. Others like the friend of the guy, is clearly far too selfish. I find the world is an interesting place to live in, especially when we witness these acts of stupidity of others. It may be bothersome and yet intriguing to watch at the same time. “But, that’s just how it goes…” I guess, with a shrug.
