What irks me in high school is, when students likes to cut in line at the cafeteria. This annoys me because the person who waited in line for long periods of time , has to wait longer due too cutters. When you finally receive your food, you cant find a spot in the cafeteria to eat because its taken from students. So you have to wait for them to finish their food, and by the time you find a spot you don't have time to enjoy your food.
This only occurs during lunch time. So half the school's students always comes in and out at the cafeteria. When I lined up for the cafeteria line, it's always a short line because i get dismiss every odd day (school days), so there isn't a lot of people in the lane for the cafeteria. The early 5 minutes dismissal doesn't matter because the 5 minutes is just wasted from walking to the cafeteria. When I lined up for the cafeteria, there is only 5-8 people in front of me. Now there are like 15 people in front of me in matter of seconds. The first 5-8 people in front of me, lets there group of friends cut them.
When I directly addressed, 1 of the person who cut in front of their friend. I simply said " Hey I've been waiting in line for along time, may you please go back in line:. The person who I was talking too, just left the line and sat down with he's friend. But if it was a group of friends cutting, I wouldn't say a word because there isn't 1 person to talk to but 4 or more people. If 1 of my friends cuts me in line, I wouldn't get mad at them because they would let me cut them if they were in line.
Out of 10 students, I think 70% of students does not know there causing people to wait even longer and the 30% of people who is cutting in lane knows that they are stressing the people be hide them. The 70% of people of people thinks that, they are allowed to cut because its hes friend are in line and they wouldn't mind if he cuts in front of him, but the people who is be hide the guys friend might be irritated at them. The 30% knows that, he will get people annoyed and make them late for something, but he doesn't care if the people be hide him gets angry, so he just cuts right in front of his friend.
The solution to this is , if one of your friend is going to buy food at the cafeteria just give you money to him/her and tell what you want. The other thing you can do is by going to the cafeteria during the 10 minutes break between classes and buying your lunch. The last solution is to pack your own lunch from home and you wouldn't have to wait in line to order your lunch.
I like your post very much and also your central idea because It happen with every one who stand in line and waiting. If somebody cut the line then every one get irritate . so the solution is to ask them on the spot and ask them that why they cut line.
